It all started in 2020 under lockdown on the Mornington Peninsula. With a father who was an executive chef and learning about preparing & cooking food from a young age and then an almost inevitable career start in hospitality, perhaps it was simply destiny. I started with the idea to create grazing boxes and treats with fresh and tasty ingredients to offer to the local community as a boutique business (as if being a full time mum isn’t busy enough!). Brainstorming the idea of the name, I wanted something simple to articulate what we want it to be – local – and what the food was to represent – a ‘treat’ – so I came up with ‘Peninsula Treats’. We are now delivering our fresh treats all over the Mornington Peninsula for grazing boxes and grazing tables have expanded our corporate catering for all over Melbourne for large orders and grazing tables for events and special occasions.
